Responsibilities:
- Investigate and enforce violations of State of Wisconsin laws and Winnebago County ordinances consistent with General Orders, Directives, and procedures of the Agency.
- Patrol the roads and highways in Winnebago County.
- Respond to and investigate various incidents and traffic accidents.
- Ensure the peace and safety of the public through objective enforcement of laws and ordinances.
- Recognize elements of criminal offences, and thoroughly document investigations.
- Provide assistance during various special events, including traffic direction, crowd control, and security.
- Serve or deliver warrants, summonses, subpoenas, and other official papers promptly and accurately.
- Newly hired Deputies may be eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus for in-state hires, or a $4,000 sign-on bonus for out-of-state hires.
- 4 days on / 5 days off, 12 hour shift schedule.
- Take home squad cars during work rotation.

- Applicants must possess a minimum of 60 college credits, with preference given to applicants who hold a Bachelor's degree, or are Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board certified or certifiable in Corrections or Law Enforcement.
- Application deadline is 4:30 PM on July 5th, 2024. Interviews and physical agility testing will be held on July 11th, 2024.
Pay: $31.34 - $39.68 per hour
