Production Associate

Penguin Pottery is hiring Our company manufactures pottery supplies in Wilder, VT (ceramic glazes and pottery tools). We are a super chill team looking for great people to join us. The business is growing quickly and we’re looking to expand our production team. No prior experience is necessary, just be friendly and have a great attitude. We will teach you the job

This is a part-time position with opportunity to go full-time based on performance. We operate on a four-day week (Monday through Thursday) because we love three day weekends Still, sometimes we’ll use Friday to get caught up with production as needed. Once you become more experienced and can work unsupervised, Fridays and weekends are also available if you want to work extra hours.

Normal Business Hours: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.

**Benefits**:

- Starting wage: $19 per hour.
- 10 days per year of paid time off, plus 6 paid national holidays (adjusted pro-rata if you work part-time).

Usual tasks for this position include:

- Product manufacturing and assembly.
- Prepare and package products for shipping.
- Operate warehouse equipment.
- Receive and store raw material deliveries.
- Maintain a clean environment.
- Other tasks related to the nature of the job.

**Requirements**:

- Be a good person. Get along with others. Be respectful.
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Follow quality control standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must have own transportation.
