**PURPOSE OF JOB**: To ensure an efficient process for all Admit Day of Surgery and Same Day Services patients, by coordinating the necessary nursing assessments, documentation, pre-admission testing and other pertinent information required for each patient prior to their scheduled day of surgery/procedure-
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:**Coordinates the preoperative assessment of the patient's pre surgical/procedure episode of care.**Ensures completion/receipt of required preadmission items prior to the day of surgery/procedure.**Effectively communicates with patients/significant others, providers, office staffs,**

**Associates and other healthcare providers**Demonstrates ongoing competence in nursing assessment and decision-making skills.**

**Job Qualifications**:

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.- BSN strongly preferred
- Current RN licensure by the State Board of Nursing, Commonwealth of
- Pennsylvania- Experience: Minimum of 3 years varied clinical experience-
- Other Skills: Certified in B.L.S. for healthcare provided- Excellent Interpersonal and team building skill
- Computer skills with EMR and Microsoft Products
- Excellent interpersonal and team building skills
- Able to multitask
