Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Plastic Surgery Clinic Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team. As a Plastic Surgery Clinic MA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced clinic environment. This is a paid position that requires knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and basic life support.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist plastic surgeons with patient consultations, examinations, and procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure they are clean and well-stocked
- Take and record vital signs accurately
- Administer medications as directed by the physician
- Provide patient education on pre-operative and post-operative care
- Assist with wound care and dressing changes
- Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information in electronic health records (EHR)
- Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and manage patient inquiries
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care

**Requirements**:

- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification preferred
- Proficient knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with coding and billing procedures related to plastic surgery services is a plus
- Basic life support (BLS) certification required
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient care
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively

Pay: $22.99 - $27.68 per hour
