**Data Analyst**

BP Environmental is looking for a Data Analyst to help refine and integrate various data systems to ensure accurate and reliable information that will help foster a data-driven environment. The Data Analyst will be extracting and sharing insights from data that impact present and future decisions on business strategy, leading to a better experience for BP’s internal staff, customers, and vendors.

**Responsibilities**:

- Implement data management, reporting, and analytics solutions including dashboards and KPI scorecards.
- Make recommendations on data collection and analysis methods to ensure data is reliable and understandable.
- Analyze the reporting needs of internal business departments and develop the most efficient methods to utilize the current data, identifying additional needs, and building additional reporting.
- Investigate and resolve any data discrepancies in a timely manner and present findings to management.
- Design, deploy and administer business analytics solutions using Power BI and Power Automate.
- Perform data cleanups and develop process flow and corresponding documentation.

**Required Skills, Education and Experience**:

- Two years of experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, information systems, business, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience building data warehousing, business intelligence and analytics solutions using Microsoft technologies.
- Proficiency with MS SQL Server and Power BI to include creating advanced queries, reports, and visualizations/charts. Any experience with scripting languages such as Python a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills including being able to quality-assure, clean, and analyze large data sets to draw conclusions and develop recommendations
- Excellent communication and writing skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics in easy-to-understand terminology.
- Strong organizational skills with experience with Finance or Customer Service is a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
