**Job description**

Coastal Ear Nose and Throat is seeking Front Desk Personnel with strong computer skills, excellent work ethic and the ability to adapt in a busy and dynamic environment.

- Schedules patient appointments: explains to patient which pieces of information they are to bring, provides a range of potential charges for the visit and the patient’s financial obligation, and provides patients several scheduling options, follows physician-approved scheduling guidelines
- Instructs patients on office policies at the time of scheduling and documents accordingly.
- Collect payments towards balances/fees via phone as indicated by office policies.
- Schedules patient appointments and explains to patient which pieces of information they are to bring, provides a range of potential charges for the visit and the patient’s financial obligation, and provides patients several scheduling options, follows physician-approved scheduling guidelines
- Screens visitors and responds to routine requests for information

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma is required
- College education preferred
- Strong Computer Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to change

- Bilingual English/Spanish - a plus
- Bilingual English/Russian - a plus

**Typical Working Conditions**

Work is performed in a reception area and involves frequent contact with patients.

Typical end time:

- 5PM

Typical start time:

- 8AM

**Salary**: $19.00 per hour
