Job Title: RN ICU - Neonatal (NICU)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. The RN ICU - Neonatal will provide specialized care to newborns who are critically ill or premature. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, critical thinking, and compassion for both infants and their families.

Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Monitor and assess the health status of newborns in the NICU

2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized care plans

4. Educate parents on newborn care and provide emotional support

5. Operate and maintain specialized equipment in the NICU

6. Assist in emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions

7. Document patient care and observations accurately and timely

8. Follow hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and quality care

Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice

2. BLS and ACLS certifications

3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a neonatal ICU setting

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment

6. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

7. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation

8. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
