Freight Broker

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Freight Broker to join our team. As a Freight Broker, you will be responsible for managing transportation sales and ensuring efficient supply chain management. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong account management skills and a passion for the logistics industry.

**Duties**:

- Develop and maintain relationships with carriers, shippers, and customers
- Negotiate pricing and contracts with carriers to secure the best rates
- Coordinate the transportation of goods, ensuring timely delivery
- Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and manage logistics processes
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize supply chain operations

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Freight Broker or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of transportation sales and account management
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and AS400 software
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
- Understanding of FDA regulations for transporting regulated goods is a plus
- Experience working with 3PL (third-party logistics) providers is preferred

Pay: $44,943.20 - $54,125.14 per year
