Pet Bather

Overview:

**Bathers’ job duties include but are not limited to**
- Bathing, drying, and brushing using appropriate shampoos and and detangle fur as needed
- Trimming, grinding, nails
- Blow drying
- Ear cleaning and plucking
- Maintaining a clean and healthy environment for guests and general upkeep of the groom salon and kennels area
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bathing area
- Follow safety protocols to ensure the well-being of pets

**Qualifications**:

- **Love for Animals**: A genuine passion for dogs and their well-being.
- **Reliability**: Punctual, dependable, and able to work on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- **Team Player**: Cooperative, friendly, and able to work well with others.
- Experience in pet care or handling preferred
- Three to six months of experience as a bather preferred
- Ability to lift heavy animals when necessary
- Knowledge of animal restraint techniques
- Strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with kennel operations is a plus
- Previous experience in pet sitting is advantageous
- Comfortable with dog handling of all sizes and animal behavior

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $10.50 - $11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
