Diesel House Laborer

**PURPOSE OF POSITION**:
Clean, and fuel diesel locomotives in accordance with governmental and company regulations.

**POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Supplies locomotives with fuel and sand
- Cleans cabs of locomotives and stocks with supplies needed
- Uses cleaning agents to clean locomotives, equipment and Diesel House
- Supplies tools and parts to maintenance personnel
- Operates forklift, bobcat, trackmobile and moves locomotives in and out of the Diesel House

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Previous mechanical experience and/or knowledge of rolling equipment preferred
- CDL license, minimum Class B
- Must be able to work any of three shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
- Must have ability to wear safety equipment and work in an environment with grease, oil and cleaning agents
