**Job Description & Responsibilities**:
**Time commitment**: Varies depending on the client’s needs, typically 8-12 hours per day

**Location**: This is an IN-PERSON job, you will be assigned to clients within your area (Fairfax, Herndon, Leesburg, Vienna, and Centreville, Virginia highly preferred)

**Payment**: This is a PAID job, you will receive a competitive hourly wage and overtime and work-performance bonuses.

**Benefits**: You will receive ongoing Home Health Aide training, support, and recognition from our Nursing Director and Administrator. You will also have the opportunity to make a positive difference in someone’s life and build meaningful relationships with your clients.

A "Personal Care Aide Training Curriculum," 2003 edition, of the Department of Medical Assistance Services training by Arya Home Healthcare will be provided, if you do not have a proper HHA licensure.

**Requirements**: Valid driver’s license and ability to commute to and from client’s home, and pass a background check (provided and paid for by Arya Home Healthcare), and obtain a proper HHA Aide licensure (you can obtain one from our agency or from another agency).

**Key Competencies/Success Factors**
- Ambulation: physically assisting a client who otherwise would be unable to move about independently.
- Eating: includes hand feeding a patient who is incapable of self-feeding.
- Personal hygiene: which includes bathing the patient.
- Toileting: assisting a patient to go to and from toileting facilities and in the activities of toileting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work with clients
- Ability to adapt to different situations and personalities
- Farsi, Urdu, Hindi speakers welcome

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 26 - 56 per week

**Experience**:

- Caregiving: 1 year (preferred)
