**Duties**:

- Oversees Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic, Equipment-Special Purpose (TMDE-SP) calibration Laboratory operations.
- Analyzes operations to ensure timely accomplishment of assigned workload.
- Facilitates external reviews and assessment to ensure/validate compliance.
- Compiles and submits quality deficiency reports, test reports, failure data, and safety alerts.

- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG).
- This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter.

**Qualifications**:
**Who May Apply: US Citizens**Specialized Experience**:One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Diagnosing, and repairing medical equipment software and hardware issues; 2) Performing medical equipment preventative maintenance and calibration; AND 3) Managing medical equipment quality control for incidents. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).**Education**:
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone-no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
