**Job Title: Receiving Specialist**

**Full Time role on first shift with benefits - Immediate Need**

**Receiving Specialist**

The Receiving Specialist is responsible for maintaining inventory counts for incoming shipments and preparing the materials for production.

**Responsibilities**:

- Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with Purchasing department to rectify damages and shortages
- Enter and maintain accurate inventory of materials and supplies in the ERP system
- Process returned items
- Identify and pick material for production as designated by work orders. Items must be picked and then visually verified for accuracy relating to part number, quantity, product finishes, and/or order numbers.
- Keep all bins, aisles, and storage areas clean and clearly labeled
- Maintains receiving and dock area in a clean, safe, and orderly condition
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.

**Qualifications**
- 1-2 years successful experience in receiving and material handling
- Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
- High sense of urgency; Ability to prioritize; Good math and logic/ and recording abilities
- Fast learner, hardworking, prompt, dedicated and responsible
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities; Excellent eye for detail
- High School Diploma

**Physical Demands and Work Environment**:

- Attention to detail
- Continually required to stand for long periods of time
- Continually required to walk
- Continually work near or with moving mechanical parts
- While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud
- Occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 lbs
- May require usage of specialized equipment: dollies, pallet jacks, and forklift in loading and unloading, conveying, moving, and lifting materials to appropriate areas.
