Estimator

Job Summary:
**Duties**:

- Utilize HeavyBid software to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects
- Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
- Collaborate with the project management team to build comprehensive project budgets
- Use Bluebeam software to review and mark up construction drawings
- Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and pricing analysis
- Monitor project costs and implement cost control measures as needed
- Prepare and submit bids, proposals, and change orders in accordance with contract requirements

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in HeavyBid software for construction estimating
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing from vendors
- Ability to interpret blueprints and build accurate estimates
- Experience with Bluebeam software for reviewing construction drawings
- Knowledge of construction management principles and practices
- Excellent project management skills to oversee estimating processes effectively
- Expertise in pricing strategies, cost control techniques, and contract requirements
