**Hiring Dietary Aide - Part Time position**

**Geneva Lake Manor** is a 60-bed facility for both long-term and rehabilitation. We have an opening for an Activity Assistant. If you are compassionate about caring for the elderly, you want to make a difference in someone's life, then you are exactly the person we're looking to hire.

GLM is looking to hire a part-time dietary aide for our 2 pm-8 pm shift. The dietary prep will portion and serve food attractively and assists in food preparation for residents. Operates, cleans and sanitizes kitchen and cafeteria equipment, dishes, and utensils. Adheres to food safety guidelines, follows diet restrictions and recipes. The applicant will offer effective communication and interaction with residents, visitors and other team members.

**Qualifications Required**:

- Team member
- General abilities in basic math skills
- Effective communication skills
- Must be English literate and possess strong written and verbal communication skills

**Qualifications Preferred**:

- Food service experience

**Essential Functions of the job, departmental expectations**:

- Set up dining rooms and trays for meal service.
- Serve portioned food according to diet restrictions.
- Deliver trays, carts, floor stock and nourishment.
- Washes dishes, pots and pans and completes general cleaning.
- Assist in trays and food preparation.
- Operating and sanitizing equipment.
- Other duties: Completes all other duties as assigned.
