Overview:
Catholic Charities Atlanta is seeking a dedicated leader with strong organization and case management skills, to join our team as our Resettlement Manager. This full-time position in our Refugee Resettlement Services will provide supervision to the Refugee Resettlement Specialists to address the needs and issues of refugee and asylee resettlement clients. The work week is generally 8am to 4pm but ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities is essential to this position.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree and minimum three years of experience or Masters degree in relevant field.
- Experience with grant management and reporting; supervisory experience; and accreditation standards.
- 3-5 years’ experience in the field of refugee resettlement/international relations, including an advanced understanding of federal funding for refugee populations is required.
- Experience working with multicultural communities and a commitment to the values of diversity, equity and inclusion. Self-motivated to engage in ongoing learning and improvement, both as an individual and as part of a team.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Responsible for the supervision of all assigned staff, including conducting regularly scheduled, monthly supervision sessions and the documentation of these sessions.

2. Provide regular oversight for R&P and Match Grant related activities, including reporting of RS grant benchmarks and case documentation. Responsible for coordinating all R&P and Match Grant core service activities amongst RS team members including airport arrivals, school registration, health screenings, financial expenditures, and other necessary activities as outlined by each grant.

3. Provide regular case file supervision for Reception and Placement, Matching Grant, and other RS grant-funded case files as assigned.

4. Ensure that RS team members are evaluating the self-sufficiency of each Match Grant case. Using budget data, report the self-sufficiency of each case on Match Grant 120 and 180 day reports to funders.

5. Review and submit all Reception and Placement client period reports to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) via electronic database within the required timeframe.

6. Provide program information and assistance to the finance department during the monthly financial reporting process (in conjunction with the Program Director). Review, approve and submit financial direct assistance requests for R & P and MG clients. Track individual client expenses to ensure appropriate spending.

7. Responsible for coordinating all R&P and Match Grant core service activities amongst RS team members including airport arrivals, school registration, health screenings, financial expenditures, and other necessary activities as outlined by each grant.

8. Responsible for tracking Reception and Placement arrivals though the USCCB-MRIS database.

9. Responsible for ensuring all arriving clients receive medical check-ups/health screening services and that all significant medical concerns are addressed. Assists clients with understanding and utilizing the local health system and securing Medicaid services.

10. Serve as point of contact for initial resettlement client issues.

11. Responsible for providing case management for Reception and Placement and Match Grant clients in the absence of a Resettlement Specialist or as directed by the Senior Director of Refugee Services.

12. Attends Resettlement Manager’s meetings with other Resettlement Agencies in Atlanta as the Catholic Charities representative on a monthly basis.

13. Responsible for representing Catholic Charities-Atlanta and the Refugee Services Program to the community, the Archdiocese, funders and other service providers in a professional, accurate and positive manner. Attends community meetings and other relevant events as assigned by the Program Director and agency administration.

14. Responsible for the timely, accurate, and professional documentation of case records which meet accreditation and funding requirements. Responsible for the timely and professional completion of all reporting requirements of USCCB, ORR, program administration and other reporting bodies.

15. Responsible for working within the Refugee Services Team and assisting other team members in providing services to clients. Expected to support all team/agency decisions and to support team members whenever possible and appropriate. Responsible for establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with other team members and Catholic Charities-Atlanta staff.

16. Responsible for knowing, supporting and adhering to the policies and procedures of Catholic Charities-Atlanta and the Refugee Program.

17. Ensures the confidentiality and privacy of all client information. Maintains appropriate and professional boundaries/relationships with clients at all times.
