**Job Description**:
VUE is a lively and contemporary restaurant with an outdoor dining patio and magnificent “VUEs” of championship golf courses and lush green rolling hills. This signature restaurant features creative dishes, a unique selection of craft brews, wines and cocktail offerings. A leisurely meal the whole family will enjoy.

As a Vue Bartender, you will craft drinks for servers and guests, including specialty coffees while providing memorable service and engaging with our guests.

**Responsibilities**:

- Report for scheduled shifts on time and in the proper uniform.Maintain a professional, neat, well-groomed appearance.
- Maintain a professional, neat, well-groomed appearance.
- Greet guests with a welcoming demeanor and provide a personalized service experience by following all Omni’s “Steps of Service” protocols as detailed by management.
- Proof your station. Check for polished silverware, neatness of bar, check for linen spots, holes, and placement.
- Assist with re-setting bar according to proper table setting standards immediately upon guest departure.
- Promote food sales to guests seated at the bar and be knowledgeable about food items offered, including daily specials.
- Maintain strong and detailed knowledge of all cocktails, beers, and wine lists.
- Maximize beverage sales by suggesting trend-setting specialty cocktails.
- Sell and up-sell items to increase per person check average.
- Serve alcohol responsibly and follow company policy and procedure regarding alcohol service.
- Take the guests’ order, serve the courses/beverages accordingly, and promptly tender payment of the check. Always say thank you to guests as they leave and invite them back, using the guest's name.
- Clear bar top of non-essential plates, silverware, and glassware during every course throughout the guest meal. Bring dirty plates and glassware to side stations or return to bar appropriately.
- Utilize the point-of-sale system and run all necessary reports. Tender all checks opened in your number, and follow end-of-shift balancing and check procedures.
- Make all drinks for guests and service staff. Drinks will include alcoholic, non-alcoholic, smoothies and specialty coffees.
- Use jiggers to measure all drinks appropriately. Follow all pouring guidelines & cocktail recipe standards. Complete pour tests as needed, including demonstration of mixology techniques and acumen.
- Complete, fill, and stock requisitions to par levels with the authorization of management.
- Keep the bar fully stocked with fresh cut fruit, ice and all items on the par sheets.
- Maintain cleanliness levels according to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Answer the phone when needed (i.e., to-go orders). Be able to answer any guest questions or direct them to someone who can.
- Transfer opened checks for guests who are waiting to be seated in the dining room to the appropriate server.
- Work as a team with all Associates to maintain an effective, positive atmosphere to run an efficient food and beverage service.
- Be attentive and proactive in offering assistance to members and guests.
- Work safely and follow all Omni Safety and Loss Prevention standards.

Qualifications:

- One year of bartending or barista experience. Experience with both is highly preferred, preferably in an upscale dining environment.
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency and multi-task.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Great communication skills - the ability to engage with guests professionally, appropriately and courteously.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Necessary Licenses/Certifications:

- RBS Certification will be required prior to the start of employment.
- Must complete CA Food Handler’s Card training provided upon hire.
