Stem Instructor

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead small groups of students through provided curriculum or develop appropriate STEM curriculum;
- Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment;
- Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies;
- Adequately prepare for each program by reading curriculum, watching training videos and/or participating in face-to-face training sessions;
- Participate in periodic training & staff meetings as required

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years college credit with a focus on Science, Technology, Math, Engineering, Education, or highly relevant field
- Experience with Lego Mindstorm & WeDo preferred
- Experience working with children in a classroom or camp environment
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment
- Proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis
- Summer Enrichment Classes
- Weekday after-school classes (~ 2pm-6pm)
- Special events, school holiday workshops

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 25 per week
