Graphic Designer

**Job description**

*NICKA K NEW YORK* - a cosmetics brand based in New York - is seeking to hire an experienced and creative Graphic Designer to join our marketing team. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver designs that are creative, useful, and align with technical and brand standards
- Create motion graphics animations for social media use
- Be aware of Graphic & Advertising Trends as they relate to digital design
- Must have strong conceptual thinking and design ability with proven experience in visual composition across mediums

**Qualifications and Skills**

Qualifications**:

- BA/BS/BFA degree in Graphic Design or Communication Arts related field
- Minimum 2-5 years related experience (in fashion or beauty - Preferred)
- Excellent typography and graphic design skills
- Ability to balance work on multiple projects at same time
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suit ( Photoshop / Illustrator), Premiere Pro / AfterEffect, a must
- Proficient in responsive web design/shopify
- Experience with motion graphics required
- Strong knowledge of best digital practices - i.e. IG stories vs. display banners
- Good team working skills

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
