Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The Behavior Technician will work with individuals, particularly those with autism, to implement behavior intervention plans and provide support in various settings.

**Responsibilities**:

- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Provide direct one-on-one behavioral therapy to individuals
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Collect and record data on individual progress and behaviors
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency in implementing strategies
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Work closely with individuals with autism or other behavioral health needs
- Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to address challenging behaviors

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in patient care or behavioral therapy is preferred
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis principles
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder
- Ability to collect and analyze data effectively
- Understanding of special education practices and principles

**Requirements**:

- Must be at least 18-years-old
- Must have a high school diploma
- Must be willing to complete the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training. This is required, but will be paid for by Bright Connections Behavioral.

This position starts at $18/hour with an increase after successful completion of the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
