**GREEN LINE APOTHECARY **is hiring an Ice Cream Maker to produce its scratch-made frozen desserts. At the intersection of fun and pharmacy, Green Line carefully crafts its ice cream inspired by the nostalgic soda fountain drugstore era. We are seeking a well-organized, hard-working culinary professional with a positive attitude to administer the Green Line ice cream making operation.

**Ice Cream Maker responsibilities**:

- Operate commercial ice cream making and other kitchen equipment to produce premium ice cream and frozen desserts
- Measure, mix, freeze using commercial batch freezer in dedicated ice cream production facility
- Prepare ice cream flavor components using commercial cooking range and other fired equipment
- Prepare orders to be distributed to Green Line Apothecary locations and other retail partners
- Adhere to company-developed recipes, processes and cost models using scratch ingredients
- Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in commercial kitchen facility
- Follow all health and safety regulations for food production
- Track inventory of bulk ingredients and products to coordinate orders with purchasing staff
- Receive deliveries from ingredient suppliers
- Contribute to research and development, flavor testing, and new product ideas
- Uphold Green Line Apothecary standards and ideals to deliver high-quality product and customer experience

**Qualifications**:

- 2+ years of culinary, kitchen or food manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience in food plant production or factory preferred
- Expertise in commercial kitchen operations, food production, safety and sanitation
- Passion for food as well as working with local and clean ingredients
- Skillful communicator and demonstrated ability to connect respectfully with customers, colleagues, partners, and management
- Ability to use computer, mobile device, and the Google suite of products (Chat, Sheets, Calendar)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work on feet for long periods
- Serv Safe certification

**Schedule**:

- Full-time
- Located at Town Made commercial kitchen in Wakefield RI

**Compensation**:

- Competitive salary commensurate upon qualifications and experience
