SEEKING _Full-Time _Medical Assisting Instructor
- We are committed to preparing the next generation of Medical Assistant professionals. Our education approach is innovative and designed to bridge the employment gap for under-represented populations._

Under the supervision of the 90 Day MA leadership team, the Full-Time MA instructor will deliver education curriculum, lead lab simulations, activities, and perform skills assessments on all assigned competencies.

Examples of Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and teach in a hybrid environment, both in person (lab and classroom) and virtual (online).
- Participate in all required meetings, workshops, and planning processes.
- Maintain inventory of equipment, supplies, and educational resources for lab areas and storage rooms.
- Communicates regularly with the Leadership Team regarding student experiences and performance
- Contacts and meets with the Program Director when issues arise
- Maintains collegial relationships with clinical staff
- Maintains student attendance records and submits them on time
- Works independently and in a team setting, demonstrate excellent time management skills, and prioritizes workflow
- Travel between locations (locally) as needed for _90-day MA_ program-related tasks
- Performs other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Leadership Team

Required Qualifications
- Hold a current, medical assisting-specific credential; Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA), Registered Medical Assistant (AMT), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant(NHA), National Certified Medical Assistant (NCCT), Clinical Medical AssistantCertification (AMCA)
- Hold a current CPR Certification
- Hold a current Office Laboratory Assistant Certification
- At least five years of experience in a clinical/back office medical assistant role
- Ability to teach students in the lab, clinical and didactic portion of MA courses within the department

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a lead medical assisting role. Such as Back Office Lead MA, MA trainer, etc.
- Medical Assistant specific teaching experience
- Experience conducting and managing laboratory, clinical and didactic learning
- Experience with technology (CANVAS, EHR/EMR, Microsoft Office)
- Effective written communication skills

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week
