**Job Summary**: The Intake Clinician will facilitate child intake assessments for youth clients receiving services at the four integrated health centers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conducts intakes and assessments (from various funding sources) that foster solution/strengths
- based orientation, to assist in addressing the client and family’s ongoing needs.
- Identifies, prioritizes and records the family vision & goals via the Behavioral Health Service Plan, Safety Plan, and all other related clinical documentation.
- Prepares required reports, inclusive of incident reports and Department of Child Safety referrals.
- Collaboration with JFCS behavioral health and medical staff in implementing agency policies and procedures.
- Provides direct therapy and case management services, including intake and assessment to child and adult clients and families.
- May provide clinical services, such as direct therapy (including individual, family, couples, children/ adults), and case management services.
- Adherence with the AZ Vision and 12 Principles for Children Behavioral Health service delivery.

Qualifications:

- Master's Degree from an accredited school in the field of social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or related behavioral health field.
- Associate Behavioral Health License required (LMSW, LAC, LAMFT).
- Ability to be credentialed and privileged at BHP level for clinical liaison.
- Minimum of two years’ work experience in behavioral health field post-Master’s.
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job including prolonged sitting and in certain positions driving, lifting 20lbs, walking, standing and executing dexterity with a keyboard or smart pad.
- Two years’ work experience in a behavioral health field preferred.
- Ability to maintain licensing and DPS fingerprint clearance.
