**Essential Job Functions**:

- 1. Assists in the conduct of research, including the collection of information and
- samples.
- 2. Assists in the performance of tests using routine and special techniques and
- methods.
- 3. May keep logs of work-related activities.
- 4. May use computers and computer-interfaced equipment to perform work
- duties.
- 5. Provides basic assistance to researchers in recording data.
- 6. Cleans, maintains, and prepares supplies and work areas.
- 7. May set up, adjust, calibrate, and clean laboratory equipment.
- 8. May assist in report writing and/or perform library research.
- 9. Performs other duties as assigned or required.**Marginal Job Functions**:

- Knowledge:

- 1. English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English
- language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition,
- and grammar.-
