Male Caregiver

**Job Title: Caregiver (South Bay L.A)**

**Purpose**:
Assist a cervical cancer patient in daily living activities in a home setting. Provide personal care that may include toileting, changing, cleaning up, feeding, medication reminders, and companionship. Help with light housekeeping and putting together/preparing meals.
- Administer bedside and personal care, such as ambulation and personal hygiene assistance.
- Communicate and connect with the patient
- Help patients with daily tasks such as personal grooming and meal preparation.
- Prepare and maintain records of Client progress and services performed, reporting changes in client condition to Client Care Manager / Staffing Department.
- Perform housekeeping duties, such as meal preparation, cleaning, and running errands.

**Job Qualifications**:

- Valid CPR / First-Aid Certification
- Current TB Test
- COVID Vaccination with Booster---definitely a strong advantage
- Live Scan - Fingerprint Clearance
- Highly professional with a friendly and cheerful personality
- Excellent human relations, reliable and responsible
- Excellent communication skills
- Registered to perform home care services in the State of California (Registered Home Care Aide)

**Work Experience**:

- One year of caregiving experience in a home, facility or assisted living (or provided focused 1-on-1 care).

**Education**:

- High School diploma or GED

**Job type**:

**Salary**:$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
