Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Beach Club Manager. This position Manager oversees Beach Clubhouse Food & Beverage outlets and operations. Responsible for day-to-day restaurant administrative duties. Responsible for staffing, scheduling, and training. Works with the management team to curate and enhance the wine and cocktail program. Works tightly within budget in purchasing operating supplies. Monitor payroll effectively.

**Duties**:

- Assist the Beach Club Manager in all aspects of daily operations, including staff management, member relations, and facility maintenance.
- Supervise and train beach club dining room staff to deliver exceptional service in accordance with club standards and policies.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless food and beverage service.
- Assist with scheduling and payroll to optimize staffing levels.
- Handle member inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner, striving to resolve issues and exceed expectations.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and employee development.
- Stay updated on industry trends and member preferences to identify opportunities for improvements and innovation.
- Create daily floor plans and event diagrams for food and beverage service.
- Plan, promote, and generate enthusiasm and interest for the Club’s diverse dining programs.
- Keep an accurate history file on cover counts and daily revenues.
- Understand and meet financial expectations.
- Attend weekly BEO meetings and relay relevant information to staff.
- Keeps detailed records of PTO requests and submit as needed.
- Assist in promoting, advertising, and marketing the Club’s outlets and new menu rollouts.
- Monitor reservations daily and accommodate special requests.
- Serves as liaison between culinary, service, and management staff.
- Attends bi-weekly management meetings.
- Performs special projects assigned.
- Responsible for adhering to and monitoring Club policies and standards.
- Monitors staff uniforms.
- Participates in ongoing facility inspections.
- Interacts with members answering questions, solving problems, overseeing services, and showing the Club facilities to visitors.
- Counsels with other managers and employees about employee grievances and complaints and directs problem correction where possible.
- Work with the Director of Events on banquets and special events.
- Monitors labor.
- Monitors budget.
- Manages department staffing needs.
- Must be skilled in time management.
- Must have teaching and motivational skills.
- Must have a good self-image and command respect from employees.
- Must be able to assign, monitor, and complete all opening and closing procedures for service staff.
- Research new beverage and wine programs and recommend to the Beverage Manager.
- Assists in recruitment, training, supervision, and termination of Food & Beverage Staff.
- Establishes, updates, and maintains all written standards and procedures for the department as needed.
- Complete periodic china/glass/silverware & uniform inventories, maintaining par levels.
- Responsible for continuing education to the service staff.
- Responsible for ordering all service products important to the Food & Beverage daily operations.
- Making sure all clock-in/out reports are correct.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.50 per hour
