Homework Helper/tutor

The part-time schedule is 2pm to 6pm Monday to Friday year-round, with flexibility on occasion to start your shift earlier if additional help has been requested. Note the department is located on the Brighton Reservation at 650 Harney Pond Rd., Suite 110, Okeechobee, FL 34974. This is not in the main city of Okeechobee, rather closer towards the Lakeport/Moore Haven and Casino area._

**Qualifications / Requirements**

Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution is required. A minimum of one (1) year of prior experience working as Tutor, Instructional Aide or similar position is required. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups and youth. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
