Overview As a Hotel Cleaner, you need to be familiar with using cleaning chemicals, equipment, and techniques in keeping crew cabins, staterooms, offices, and public areas spotless. Your duties include reporting any malfunctioning lighting, heating, and ventilation equipment. Responsibilities Clean the public areas of the ship. Dust the main hallways and corridors. The Hotel Cleaner maintains the public railings/banisters and ensure they are wiped, cleaned, sanitized and maintain their shine. Cordon off areas where guests or staff may have been sick, cordon off the area and contact a supervisor. You will be responsible for cleaning and dusting fixtures such as light fixtures, picture frames, chairs, tables and more in public areas along with mopping and vacuuming. Spot clean doors and frames. As a Hotel Cleaner you should be able to remove grease, mineral deposits and soap scum from various surfaces. Closely follow cleaning instructions as per ship requirements. Be aware of all safety procedures when using chemicals and cleaning equipment. Responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of all your cleaning equipment and any other ship’s property that you work with. The Hotel Cleaner must be hospitable and engaging with guests. Report to workstations on time and properly groomed. Be a team player and interested in growing within the department. Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits:
