As Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of machinery, ensuring product quality, maintaining equipment, adhering to safety regulations, conducting routine maintenance, managing inventory, and providing training to other operators.

The Machine Operator:

- Setup and operate assigned machinery, including preparing them for daily use.
- Responsible for maintaining equipment to ensure it operates safely and effectively.
- Ensure products meet specifications and detect jams or malfunctions, adjusting as necessary.
- Routine maintenance, cleaning, oil checking and quality checking.
- Responsible for following all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Measure and visually inspect products for defects to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Turn valves and dials of machines to regulate pressure, temperature, and speed and feed rates, and to set cycle times.
- Read specifications, blueprints, and work orders to determine setups, temperatures, and time settings required to mold, form, or cast plastic materials, as well as to plan production sequences.
- Observe meters and gauges to verify and record temperatures, pressures, and press-cycle times.
- Inventory and record quantities of materials and finished products, requisitioning additional supplies as necessary.
- Maintain inventories of materials and complete proper documentation.
- Train other operators as needed.
- Operate forklift as needed.
- Highschool diploma or GED.
- Previous industry experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic math and measurement skills
- Experience with forklifts preferred.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments.
- Excels in a fast-paced environment.
- Thrives in a routine environment.
- Ability to complete physically demanding tasks.
