Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for administration duties related to invoice processing, carrier bill of lading generation. Must have prior warehouse experience with biil of lading and freight carriers.

**Essential Functions**:

- Oversee the check-in of all drivers.
- Prepares bills of lading; checks items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain that quantities, destination, and routing are correct.
- Schedule pick-ups with freight carriers per company’s specifications and monitors to ensure pick-up and delivery deadlines are met.
- Compares cost and transit times from different carriers & chooses the most affordable/reliable carrier. Consolidating freight.
- Print all pertinent paperwork for shipping.
- Make certain that that shipping clerk(s) coordinate with the dock and the drivers what door they will be loading product in.
- Coordinate with certain carriers that have drop trailers informing them of trailer number, seal number and paperwork procedure.
- Ensure all paperwork is properly signed by truck driver.
- Close loads in the system.
- Submit lost shipments and/or customer claims of lost shipments, initiates proof of delivery documents.
- Communicate customer problems, leads, and inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain confidentiality of company information.
- Generate invoices for products shipped daily.
- Communicates with sales regarding changes or delays in schedules.
- Proof all data and make any necessary corrections.
- Is punctual and consistently available for work.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- 4-years in warehouse, transportation, logistics experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficient in Transportation Management Systems.
- Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of logistics processes and procedures
- Experience with data entry and record keeping
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
