Chess Teacher

MASTERMIND CHESS is a small business in Brooklyn, NY. We are supportive, engaging, inclusive and our goal is to foster an environment that promotes a growth mindset. We are looking to hire a chess teacher for afterschool programs on Tuesdays ( Prospect Heights) and Thursdays ( Park Slope)

Our work environment includes:

Hours: Tuesday 4:15- 5:15, Thursday 5:00-6:00

Total pay: 100 for the week

For the fall term starting in September there will openings for additional days.

**Responsibilities**:

- Be able to provide chess instruction
- Be able to communicate effectively with students and parents.
- Be able to work independently.
- Be able to work well with others.
- Have experience working with children K-5

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $49.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 2 per week
