**Job description**

**Responsibilities**:
**Order Picking**: Accurately and efficiently pick items from shelves or storage areas based on customer orders and specifications. Use handheld devices or picking sheets to identify items and quantities needed.

**Packing**: Carefully pack items into appropriate containers, ensuring they are adequately protected for transportation while considering size, weight, and fragility. Follow specific packing instructions to meet quality standards.

**Quality Control**: Inspect items for damages or defects before packing to maintain high-quality standards. Report any issues with products, packaging, or inventory discrepancies to supervisors.

**Labeling and Sorting**: Label packages with shipping labels, invoices, or other required documentation. Organize and sort packed items, ensuring proper handling and easy identification during shipping.

**Inventory Management**: Assist in inventory control by maintaining accurate records of items picked, packed, and shipped. Participate in cycle counts or periodic inventory checks as needed.

**Adherence to Safety and Procedures**: Follow safety guidelines and warehouse procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Properly use equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts if certified and trained.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing orders.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
- Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience level:

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
