**Responsibilities**:

- Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing the customer's experience
- Process customer transactions such as orders, quotes, or returns
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries, providing information about products, prices, and availabilities all in a timely manner
- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge, pricing, and promotions to provide accurate information to the customers
- Listen to customer's needs and preferences, offering product recommendations and solutions
- Maintain proficiency in using computers and other office equipment and software
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate store operations are being completed on a daily basis
- Contribute to achieving sales targets/goals given by the branch manager

**Requirements**:

- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- 2 + years of customers service and sales experience preferred
- Knowledge of HAVC/building supplies preferred
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Proficiency with computers and different software systems required
- Knowledgeability in navigating the internet/websites to find product/information for customers
