Join Edison Township’s Recreation team in the summer months in its newest and exciting splash park.

Position Summary:
Responsibilities include coordinating / supervising daily registration, tracking attendance for Splash Pad entrance, maintain a safe and clean environment for patrons, enforce rules, answer questions from the public, report maintenance problems to the recreation department.

Examples of Work Performed:

- Control access to the Splash Pad through accurate daily attendance tracking and enforcement of age limits and supervision requirements.
- Maintain excellent customer service through positive public courtesy, accurate registration tracking, and timely reporting of maintenance or service problems.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment for the patrons by regularly picking up the grounds, emptying garbage cans and responding quickly when safety problems occur.
- Keep all daily records to include registration, attendance and maintenance reports.
- Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

- Ability to work outdoors, with limited supervision, to follow oral and written instructions, to add and subtract accurately, and to complete daily forms.
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand and communicate in English sufficiently.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and the ability to communicate effectively with the public.
- Ability to perform cleaning skills to include, but not limited to: sweeping, raking, emptying garbage cans, picking up litter, wiping down table tops, hosing down equipment and decks.
- Ability to learn and operate computers using various software systems, two-way radio, or other portable communication devices.

Compensation:
Starting hourly rate: $15 - $20

Schedule: Mid-June thru Labor Day

Daily Shifts: Weekday and Weekend Shifts; 8am - 2pm & 1pm - 7pm

**Job Type**: Seasonal

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
