Someone who can help our Lead teachers to create a fun environment and incorporate educational programs that assist in our children’s development. The Assistant teacher will be responsible for assisting with monitoring and teaching the children within the classroom, as well as partnering with our team to enhance the learning environment at our school.
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain a constructive and ongoing rapport with children and families
- Aid in creating activities that are fun and educational for the children
- Collaborate with other teachers to ensure that the school fosters an environment that is inviting and nurturing for every child
- Deliver reports on potential concerns about children to leads and administration as needed
- Aid in maintaining day-to-day classroom routines
- Aid in keeping records of children’s progress, routines, and interests, and keep parents informed about their child’s development
- Qualifications and skills preferred;
- Associates degree; not required
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Minimum Level 6 on the registry
- 2+ years’ experience working with children
- Knowledge of Creative Curriculum preferred but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Pay: $15.50 - $18.67 per hour
