**Logistics Technician**:** Company: Worldwide Foam**:** Location: LaPorte, Indiana**:
**Summary**: Worldwide Foam is seeking a dedicated Logistics Technician to join our team for our LaPorte, Indiana location. As a Logistics Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely shipments of raw materials and finished products. Your coordination skills will streamline communication across departments, and your proactive updates will keep our customers informed.

**Essential Functions**:

- ** Fulfill Sales Orders**:

- Orchestrate transportation for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Utilize the TMS platform (Banyan) to optimize transportation solutions.
- Communicate with carriers and secure estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) for shipments.
- Provide end-of-day reports, including explanations for orders that did not ship.
- ** Customer Returns**:

- Facilitate administrative processes for customer returns.
- Review receiving paperwork and ensure proper documentation for Purchasing.
- ** Outbound Shipments**:

- Confirm pickup ETAs for outbound shipments.
- Check in drivers upon arrival.
- Generate daily Pick Tickets for the warehouse and monitor picking/production progress.
- ** Shipping Documentation**:

- Review, scan, and upload completed shipping documents to the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics).
- ** Attitude and Communication**:

- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with customers and vendors.

**Required Education and Experience**:

- High school diploma/GED.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Strong computer literacy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

**Preferred Education and Experience**:

- Experience with Dynamics 365 ERP.
- Prior ERP utilization for day-to-day operations.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in transportation or administrative roles.
