Physical Therapy Tech

Silver Spring, United States White Oak Physical Therapy & Hand Rehabilitation Full time

Do you have a background in fitness or sports? Have you considered a career in healthcare assisting Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Certified Hand Therapists?

Full-time Physical Therapy Tech position available immediately to start at $18.00 per hour.

**Responsibilities**:

- Direct patient contact
- Assist with exercise program
- Clean and maintain equipment
- Wash, dry and fold laundry
- Scanning of medical records
- Appointment scheduling and admin support at front desk
- Disinfecting of surfaces with EPA approved products

**Qualifications**:

- Interest in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation or personal training
- Self-motivated
- Enthusiastic
- Effective communication
- Ability to multi-task in a high volume setting
- Organized
- Physically fit and able to lift 50 pounds
- COVID-19 vaccination

**Schedule**:
Must be available to work shifts during the following hours:

- Monday - Thursday between 6:45 am to 8:00 pm
- Friday between 6:45 am to 6:00 pm
- Saturday (once per month) from 7:45 am to 1:00 pm

**Experience**:
Previous healthcare experience or an exercise related field is preferred

**Education**:
Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply

High School diploma or GED required

Knowledge of basic anatomy required

COVID-19 considerations:
PPE: Employees will be supplied with KN-95 masks, protective face shields and gloves to wear during scheduled shift. All persons entering facility must wear a mask and wash hands upon entry. Employees are 100% vaccinated.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
