Grocery Clerk/cashier

Position: Cashier/Grocery Clerk

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Answer customer questions and assist with product selection
- Stock shelves, rotate merchandise, and maintain a clean and organized store
- Assist with inventory management and ordering products as needed
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by management

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Prior retail or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 30 per week
