Custom Millwork and Design Group, Inc (CMD) primarily manufactures custom millwork for medium and large new and renovation projects within the hospitality and multi family living industries across the world. CMD is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Shop Floor Manager to assist in the oversight of the daily operations of our Millwork facility. The Shop Floor Manager’s responsibilities include monitoring staff performance and ensuring all production orders are completed in a timely manner. The Shop Floor Manager will also perform frequent inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following areas:

- General management and supervision of factory floor personnel
- Ensure that factory machinery is in good working order
- Analyze production data to identify and resolve any production issues
- Regularly inspect finished products to determine whether they meet established quality standards
- Ensure Health and Safety Compliance
- Ability to coordinate product flow through multiple departments
- Motivate factory workers to continually achieve factory targets

Requirements and Qualifications include:

- Managerial or Supervisory experience within a factory
- Sound knowledge of industry-specific factory equipment
- Ability to multitask
- Outstanding time management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong management and leadership skills
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent work ethic and dependability
- Self-motivated and Driven

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

- Millwork Manufacturing: 5 years (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Bantam, CT 06750: Relocate before starting work (required)
