**Position Overview**: Blossom & Ivory is seeking a versatile and enthusiastic Cashier/Team Member to join our esteemed team. In this dual role, you will have the opportunity to interact with customers, handle transactions, and contribute to the overall success of our boutique. If you have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a passion for fashion, we invite you to be a part of our chic and dynamic team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet customers warmly as they enter the boutique, providing a welcoming and personalized experience.
- Assist customers with inquiries, product selection, and personalized recommendations, offering knowledgeable assistance and attentive service.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system, handling cash, credit, and debit card payments with care.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring merchandise presentation meets company standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Uphold company policies and procedures regarding customer interactions, returns, and exchanges.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as receiving shipments, checking for accuracy, and restocking merchandise.
- Continuously strive to improve product knowledge and customer service skills to enhance the overall shopping experience.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience as a cashier, team member, or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- A passion for fashion and a desire to create memorable experiences for customers.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
