Operations Mgr

As the Manager, Operations, you will oversee the smooth running of customer operations, ensuring on time service is met. **What you'll do**:

- Responsible for all day-to-day transportation operations for our Compton facility.
- Manage a team of dispatchers that are responsible for on time service for the warehouse and its customers.
- Work closely and set expectations for our temporary agency representative and their drivers for this location
- Ensure on time execution for all imports and exports
- Partner with our CFS and Warehouse leadership team to eliminate issues and streamline processes.
- Responsible for equipment management and limiting per diem and demurrage exposure. This includes utilization for our asset equipment.
- Communicate and identify root cause for any missed loads and implement new procedures to ensure they do not happen again.

**What you'll have**:

- 4 years of experience in drayage/intermodal operations
- Experience with Microsoft Office and computerized scanner equipment
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or a related field, or equivalent related work or military experience
- Ability to communicate with credibility and build customer relationships
- Experience maintaining a safe work environment by monitoring and enforcing safety procedures across all departments
