**About the Job at Desert View Counseling & Consulting (DVCC)**

DVCC is currently looking for a highly dedicated, qualified and motivated _**mental health or medical - front office scheduler **_to join our growing team in Peoria and North Phoenix. The position is very fast paced and detail orientated due to the high volume of patients our practice sees daily.

**DVCC History**:

Over the past few years DVCC has been committed to using innovative technologies like TMS, Spravato (s-ketamine), medication management and EMDR in conjunction with talk therapy to improve our patient’s mental health. **The Position at DVCC**:Full time front office - scheduler

**This is not an entry level position** - Must have experience in behavioral and/or medical health front or back office or similar experience.

Shift: Monday to Friday shift. You maybe be required to work until 6pm on some days and other days will be opening. Flexibility is a must. Overtime offered on occasion.

Your day-to-day work requirements will consist of working with patients, insurance companies, counselors, psychiatric providers and telemedicine providers. Staying engaged, motivated and remaining calm under “high traffic/busy” situations will be important.

If you are skilled in all front office tasks of a mental health facility including greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling, insurance verification, copay collection, referrals, working in an EMR system and multitasking this is the job for you.

Did we mention you must enjoy being on the phone? Our patients, insurance companies and other businesses really like calling us.

Knowledge in e-faxing, scanning, copying, sending out referrals, receiving referrals and sending out labs electronically is good. Bonus points if you really know commercial insurance, Medicare and some EAP’s. Once again, you must be comfortable being on the phone and reaching out to our provider contacts and patients to schedule (again with the phone, it is a big part of the job).

**Minimum requirements (non-negotiable)**:
2-5 years in similar job setting
