Leasing Agents perform many organizational tasks to help renters find the perfect home that meets their needs. Their duties and responsibilities include:
- Meeting potential renters and guiding them on tours of available units
- Following up on leads for potential renters
- Performing background checks, credit checks and other responsibilities to see if prospective renters are qualified
- Preparing leasing documents for potential renters using property standards and regulations
- Keeping residents informed of any changes to rental agreements or upcoming property projects
- Building a rapport with current residents and prospects to give them personalized service
- Keeping an eye on community facilities
Resident Relations
- Listens to all resident requests, concerns, and comments
- Ensures all work orders are handled satisfactorily by contacting residents with completed service requests
- Assists in planning and hosting resident functions
- Assists with enforcing policies and rules of the community
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years in a customer service or sales-oriented role. 6+ months of on-site leasing experience or a combination of customer service and sales experience and education preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Possesses superior sales ability
- Computer proficiency, including MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
