Manage and maintain the university's CCTV system and assist in the provision of security for the university's IT systems.

**Responsibilities**:
**Typical Allocation of Duties**

**Maintain CCTV systems - 30%**
Maintain the university's digital and analog Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems including adding replacing, troubleshooting and repairing cameras and DVRs, and managing user accounts and privileges.

**Coordinate with other university departments - 20%**
Work with multiple university departments including academic facilities, and the police, to ensure CCTV needs are met.

**Monitor IT security infrastructure - 20%**
Assist in monitoring IT security infrastructure with a focus on identifying technology threats and vulnerabilities and developing community security awareness outreach initiatives.

**Install, maintain, and support - 20%**
Install, maintain, and support information security products and services.

**Consulting services - 10%**

**Supervisor Expectations**
- Configure access and maintain security camera hardware and software.
- Support information security systems used for continual monitoring and analysis of data security, system compliance, privileged access, and third-party access.
- Monitor information security systems used for detection of anomalous system activity and escalate cybersecurity incidents that may cause ongoing and immediate impact to the computing environment.
- Assess network security and account access controls based on principles of least privilege and need-to-know.
- Develop cybersecurity awareness outreach and risk reduction initiatives.

**Required Qualifications**:
**Required Experience**
Associate's degree in a related area and one (1) year of related work experience.
