**About The Position**

InContext Solutions is looking to hire a motivated and entrepreneurial-minded Data Scientist. Working within the Data team, our Data Scientist will get an opportunity to contribute to the development of data-based products and services centered around the historical shopping behavior data collected across our 15-year history. They will also have the opportunity to actively shape and fulfill the needs of a fast-growing product line, which is critical to the success of the business. The Data Scientist will report to the Director, Data. They will be part of the Data team and will work with multiple vendors and cross functional teams including senior members of the Sales, Insights, and Technology teams.

***Responsibilities**
- Support existing data handling processes and tools in the execution of project work for our clients including dashboards, benchmarks, norms, and data cleaning and manipulation as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement in the existing data products and services with additional features and efficiencies.
- Together with our Data Science team, they will help construct, program, vet, and implement data models for use in data products and services.
- Push the boundaries of what is possible by uncovering and eliminating challenges that are preventing good data-based models and products and services from being built, identifying technologies and approaches to improve our data processes and data products and services.
- Meeting the expectations of our clients who expect consistent quality with each deliverable.

***Qualifications and Skills**
- An advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Financial Math, or similar field.
- Strong Python programming skills. Experience with Machine Learning approaches. Additional analytical software or data visualization tools is a plus.
- Experience with Python Data Science stack including NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, SciPy etc.
- Proven project delivery and organizational skills; ability to independently manage several tasks or projects simultaneously.
- Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams at all levels in a fast-paced setting.
- Hunger for knowledge and ability to take initiative to create and suggest learning opportunities.

**Salary and Benefits**

The annual salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000.

Individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills, and experience.
