Painter/laborer

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Painter/Laborer to join our team. As a Painter/Laborer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to painting and general labor duties. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development within our company.

**Duties**:

- Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and repairing any damages
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results
- Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools
- Assist with general labor duties such as moving materials, cleaning work areas, and organizing supplies
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in painting or general labor preferred
- Knowledge of trim carpentry, masonry, remodeling, or construction estimating is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Proficient in using power tools and basic hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating paint quantities

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

**Experience**:

- Commercial painting: 1 year (preferred)
