**Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Perform customized alteration fittings for clients in their wedding gowns or eveningwear luxury gowns
- Alter bridal gowns and eveningwear gowns of various embellishment, such as lace, beading, embroidery work, and heavy beadwork
- Alter bridal gowns and evening gowns of various fabrics, such as silks, mikado, satin, tulle, charmeuse, lining, stretch knit, and illusion netting
- Perform all the work assigned by the Alterations Managers
- Meet productivity standards
- Communicate supply needs to the Alterations Managers
- Ensure that the alterations studio, work areas, and all fitting areas are kept organized, clean and safe for all employees and customers
- Communicate machine or equipment repair needs to the Alterations Managers
- Maintain neat work area in the fitting areas for clients and all designated areas for fitters, including the checkout space and alterations studio

**Qualifications**:

- 3+ years of experience in performing alteration fittings
- 3+ years altering bridal gowns and evening gowns
- Has worked with various fabrics, such as lace, beading, embroidery work, and heavy beadwork, silks, mikado, satin, tulle, charmeuse, lining, stretch knit, and illusion netting
- Knowledgeable in using industrial sewing machines
- Speak and write in English; bilingual is a plus
- Has reliable transportation
- Able to work on weekdays and weekends, on major federal holidays and overtime
- Responsible, punctual, and a team player
- Flexible to the needs of the company and clientele
- Has basic computer knowledge; additional training will be provided
- Proficient in garment construction techniques and sewing machine operation
- Strong knowledge of different types of fabrics and their properties
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
