**Schedule**: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

**Job Summary**:We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Summer Camp Counselors. As a counselor, you will play a pivotal role in providing a fun, safe, and enriching experience for campers. You will lead activities, ensure camper safety, and foster a positive environment that encourages personal growth and social development.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Supervision and Safety**: Oversee the daily activities and general welfare of campers. Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
- **Activity Planning and Facilitation**: Plan, organize, and lead a variety of camp activities including sports, arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, and team-building exercises.
- **Camper Engagement**: Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere. Engage with campers to promote participation, encourage teamwork, and build self-esteem.
- **Conflict Resolution**: Address and resolve conflicts among campers in a constructive manner. Promote positive interactions and respect among campers.
- **Role Modeling**: Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating appropriate behavior, good sportsmanship, and leadership skills.
- **Daily Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of camper attendance, incidents, and progress. Communicate effectively with camp management and parents as needed.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with fellow counselors and camp staff to ensure a cohesive and smooth-running program.

**Qualifications**:

- Must be 18 years or older. Ability to pass a backgroundcheck.
- Previous experience working with children is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and participate in recreational activities

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- CPR Certification (required)

Ability to Commute:

- Aurora, IL 60502 (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Aurora, IL 60502: Relocate before starting work (required)
