**Dental Assistant (Full Time)**

Luxe Dental Care is a family owned dental practice located in Kent Island, MD. Our mission is to provide our patients with the highest quality of dental care, friendly and luxurious environment.

We are a team-oriented practice, we recognize one of our biggest asset is our **employees**. We are a PPO, Medicaid and fee for service dental practice.

We are seeking an individual with high energy, great communication skills and a can-do attitude. The **Dental Assistant** plays an integral role in the practice, he/she will perform a number of administrative and customer service-related duties. The duties and responsibilities of dental assistant are as follows:

- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient record

**Requirements**:

- Dental assisting: 1+ year (preferred)
- X-Ray Certification (required)
- Expanded function certification is a plus but not required
- Proficient in dental practice management software Denticon (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments and procedures
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast pace environment

**Work Schedule**:
Monday to Thursday : 9 AM - 5 PM
