**Why Join Our Team?**
- Penn Medicine Princeton Health (PMPH) is seeking a per diem RN (Registered Nurse) to work the day shift within Princeton House Behavioral Health’s (PHBH) outpatient facility. The location is Princeton, NJ.
- Princeton House Women’s Program is a partial hospital program treating women who suffer from a variety of mental illnesses ( anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, chronic suicidality, self harming behaviors, personality disorders etc). Patients can attend our program by calling centralized admissions, who then schedules them for an evaluation with a provider (MD or APN). Patients attend our PHP (partial hospital program) M-F from 9:30-3:30 each day, or IOP ( intensive outpatient program) 9:30-12:30 3x per week, and then go home. Treatment is usually 6-10 weeks. The program is voluntary and pts do not sleep there. We are closed on weekends. The program primarily consists of group therapy sessions and some pts who are in the DBT ( dialectical behavioral therapy) receive individual sessions 1x weekly. Patients learn emotional regulation skills, interpersonal effectiveness and relapse prevention. Patients receive medication management as well by their provider.

**Scheduling Requirements**:

- Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm, no weekends and no holidays
- Per diem RNs need to offer a MINIMUM of 2 shifts per month and 1 difficult to staff day (e.g. holidays such as day after Thanksgiving, days around Christmas, days around New Year’s) per year.
- For this position, schedule expectations are as much coverage as they can provide during a maternity leave from 9/5/24- approx. 3/1/25

After that maternity leave is covered, Per Diem would be expected to cover at other locations as needed.

**Key Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Obtain patient UDS (urine drug screens) weekly/ biweekly/ monthly
- Metabolic monitoring (weight and vitals) every 4 weeks
- Medication Refills
- Prior authorizations
- Provide medication Injections
- Wound care
- as result of self-harm behaviors
- Triage to inpatient unit (medical vs psych)
- clinical hand off nurse to nurse
- Function as go between provider and patient
- New patient evaluations
- Drug/ supply/ equipment logs

**What We Require for this Role**:
Education
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) or in pursuit of required.

Related Work Experience
- 15 months of RN experience required Previous behavioral health experience REQUIRED.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of New Jersey required.
